2019 Australian Open

14-27 JANUARY 2019

Boasting a history stretching back to the turn of the 20th century, the Australian Open is Australia’s biggest tennis tournament and one of the world’s most renowned majors.

Played over the last fortnight in January each year, it is the first of the four Grand Slam® tennis events and represents the major season opener. Played on the iconic blue Plexicushion hard-courts against a Melbourne cityscape backdrop, it’s no small surprise that the Australian Open draws crowds in excess of 700,000!
