2018 Australian Supercross Championships - Round 3, Geelong

The Australian Supercross Series is back for 2018 with this year’s championship shaping up to be the biggest in years. The evolving sport originating from motorcross roots takes place on man-made courses in arenas & stadiums with riders facing high jumps, lots of turns and curves. It is an amazing spectacle which presents riders with a demanding physical and mental challenge.

A sport full of excitement and noise, the 2018 Australian Supercross Series will be held across 5 weekends from September to November and will attract thousands of spectators. Fans will witness the sport’s best international riders with a stacked field of talent journeying from America and Europe to take on Australia’s best. Names including Justin Brayton, Bradly Taft, Dakota Alix, Jase Owens and Jacob Hayes from USA and Gradie Featherstone from the UK all make for an epic five round battle for Australia’s top Supercross Prize.

Local star and three-time Australian Supercross Champion, Dan Reardon, is revved up and ready to chase another series victory in 2018. Dan last won the Championship in 2015 and since then has travelled the world racing for his team in the US in front of full stadiums and contesting Arenacross races throughout Europe in the winter of 2017. With his focus now set on the 2018 Australian Supercross Championship, regaining his number 1 status is the goal but he understands the opposition he faces this coming season.

“Each year the depth of our Supercross series continues to get deeper and deeper. We now have a host of international riders who compete in Australia and Justin Brayton has won the championship the last two years. After last here, Justin went back to the US and had one of his best seasons ever so the level of competition is high, and the championship is quite prestigious due to the level of rider we are now attracting.”Dan Reardon, Multiple Australian Supercross Champion
