De Bortoli Winery, a third generation, Italian family owned winery and one of the biggest wine companies in the Yarra Valley. From its vineyards in this premium wine growing region and their vineyards in New South Wales, De Bortoli produces a wide range of award winning wines including the world acclaimed, award winning range of premium Fortified Wines. Enjoy a hosted tasting of cheese from their own Cheese Maturation Room, matched perfectly with their Yarra Valley estate wine.
- Dixons Creek Estate -
Meet the winemaker, Graeme Miller at Dixon’s Creek Estate. The cellar door, situated on the vineyard, provides some of the best views of the Yarra Valley. The wine tasting area has direct viewing of a working winery below. There is a fine display of Aboriginal Art from the Central and Western deserts and Arnhem Land. Graeme is a pioneer of the Yarra Valley and an authority on local history, vines, wine and everything in between. For a unique souvenir Graeme will autograph your bottle and may even pose for a photo if you ask him nicely.
- Lunch at Tokar Estate or Soumah -
Tokar Estate or Soumah are wonderful lunch destinations and provide the option of alfresco dining in warmer weather with a full al la carte menu to choice from. Both are long time favorites for locals and international travellers with warm and inviting service and the very best local produce. Your main meal is served with a perfectly matched glass of wine.

- Coldstream Hills Winery -
Since its first vintage in 1985, Coldstream Hills has built an enviable reputation for producing outstanding and distinctive wines from the Yarra Valley. In particular the hero varieties of the region, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. You will enjoy an extensive wine tasting including their award winning varietals and reserves whilst admiring the stunning view of the vines below. Coldstream Hills is home to Australian wine critic, James Halliday.
- Dominique Portet Winery -
Making wine is, and has always been a family affair for the Portets as tenth generation winemaker, Ben Portet continues the family legacy dating back to 18th century France. Our last stop on the Yarra Valley food and wine journey is a relaxed cellar door tasting in a setting that captures the essence and beauty of this beautiful area.
